Renting a car in Curaçao
Do I need a car in Curaçao?
Public transport does not reach most beaches or the national parks. With a car, Kenepa, Cas Abao and Shete Boka are all 30–50 minutes from Willemstad — without one you depend on taxis at $40–70 per trip.
Is delivery to my hotel really free?
Yes. We deliver and collect free of charge anywhere on the island: hotels, resorts, villas, Airbnbs, marinas and Curaçao International Airport (CUR).
What deposit do you ask for?
A refundable security deposit of $286 USD is taken at pick-up, in cash or by card, and returned when you hand the car back in the same condition.
What do I need to rent?
A valid driving licence held for at least one year, a passport or ID, and a driver aged 21 or over. Licences from the EU, US, Canada and most Latin American countries are accepted as they are.
Can I cancel or change my dates?
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pick-up, and date changes are free whenever we have availability — just message us on WhatsApp.
Is insurance included in the price?
Local third-party insurance and unlimited kilometres are included in every daily rate. Extra coverage that reduces the deductible can be added at pick-up.
